Included in your NOVA System Rezzer mini demo are mini curtain blanks. These blanks are without scripts so you can size them to fit your build. Once they are sized the scripts can be dropped into the prims to function properly. You can construct prims to show yourself as the creator if desired.
- Copy blank curtains or create curtain prims for your build
- Rez the NOVA System Blank Door Packs if you would like to use the full-perm, pre-cut curtains provided with this system.
- Follow the rezzer instructions above to rez the blanks from the box, and choose "Save" from the rezzer menu to remove the "Structure Piece" scripts. You can also choose not to "Save" -- in this case, copy door sets and remove the "Structure Piece" script manually from the copies.
- If you are building your own curtain prims
- Note the rotation, relative size (X, Y, Z), and Path Cut values in the blank curtain prims.
- Curtains (the prims containing NOVA scripts) must be linked to another prim (e.g., a curtain rod or another part of the build). The curtain prims cannot be the root prim of a linkset.
- NOTE: curtains must be in their final size before placing the NOVA scripts in them
- Position blank curtain prims in the build.
- Name each curtain so that each set has a different name. (e.g., "Living Room Drape Left", "Bedroom Curtains", etc.)
- Prepare the curtains for your build
- Add the curtain contents to the Contents tab of each curtain prim.
- Pause after adding each script to allow the scripts to recompile and reset.
- For non-lockable, standalone curtains, touch each curtain to open and close before continuing to the initialization and set-up step
